We have access to New Zealand’s leading independent expert in Handwriting Analysis & Forensic Document Examination.

Our expert has more than 17 years experience in the field of Forencic Document Examination and is recognised by the Courts in New Zealand and the UK as an Expert Witness in both Civil and Criminal cases.  Her areas of expertise cover:

• Identification of handwriting, signatures, typewriting, printers and printed matter;
• Distinguishing forgery from genuiness;
• Analysing inks, papers and other substances that are combined into documents;
• Detection of additions and substitutions on a document;
• Restoration or decipherment of erased or obliterated writing

If you have doubts about the authenticity of a document, handwriting sample or signatures please contact us and we will arrange for our expert to prepare a report and if necessary appear in court on your behalf. Our team will provide the necessary expertise to secure specimen handwriting and obtain from you the correct documents in order for a proper examination to take place.

It is critical that you provide original documents, handwriting and sample signatures, as copies (sometimes subjected to several copying processes) or faxed documents can distort the pen line and do not permit proper assessment to be made of the linespeed and fluency of the writings; furthermore letter constructions, stroke directions, unusual hesitation, pen lifts, patching, or the retracing of strokes cannot always be fully determined and our Expert can only form an opinion based solely upon the material supplied for the examination.

Consultations by appointment:

The most successful results in Handwriting & Documentation Analysis are achieved by using our Consultation process and this is done in our East Auckland Office Suite.  This service will provide clients with a confidential and private environment in which to discuss their requirements and the best use of financial resources and time  This will provide our examiner with the best possible chance of obtaining a positive result.  Parking is available nearby and directions to the Office Suite are available when booking.

Julia will be available on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10.00AM to 3.00PM and the cost is $250.00 plus GST per hour - Bookings are essential and payment is required either prior to the consultation or on the day.
