Julia Hartley Moore founded Arbeth & Co Ltd in 1996 and in the last 12 years Julia has become the face of Private Investigation and a popular motivational speaker in New Zealand and abroad.
Julia was the first woman to own a Private Investigation company in New Zealand in an industry totally dominated by male ex-police officers. With no formal Police background Julia caused a major stir in the Private Investigation industry but now her Boutique Investigation Agency works internationally and throughout New Zealand & Australia in the fields of Private, Family Court, Criminal and Commercial investigations. Julia and her team have a depth of experience in life, business and professional services and when teamed with the ability to think outside the square and apply sound business acumen to a corporate problem is a major reason why the work carried out by Arbeth & Co Limited is not just restricted to Private / Domestic Investigations.

The success of her business has put an increasing demand on Julia's time and this has led her to provide Consultations in a Auckland Central City Office Suite. This service will provide clients with a confidential and private environment in which to discuss their requirements and ways to move forward. Parking is available nearby and directions to the Office Suite are available when booking.
Julia will be available on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10.00AM to 3.00PM and the cost is $250.00 plus GST per hour - Bookings are essential and payment is required either prior to the consultation or on the day.

With much of Julia's work being of a personal nature, she is well aware of the need to be a sympathetic sounding board. Empathy is a key component and consultations are carried out with Care & Confidentiality.

Julia has written three books, the highly succesful Julia Moore P.I published by Penguin Books (NZ) in 2000 which, led to her second book the international bestseller Infidelity – Exploding the Myths published by Harpercollins in June of 2004. It immediately entered the Best Sellers list in New Zealand and such was the demand that the book has been reprinted twice, the first time within one week of it’s release. International rights have been sold to USA &Canada where the book is called ‘Infidelity Sleuth’, Portugal, Russia, Italy, China (Worldwide rights in simplified and complex characters), Taiwan & Indonesia.
Julia's latest book 'Suddenly Single' was released in June 2007 to rave reviews and gave Julia her second New Zealand top ten Non -Fiction best sellers entry following the earlier success of 'Infidelity - exploding the myths'. Julia is working on a 'Suddenly Single' nationwide tour for women encouraging them to be the best they can be and to enable them to get what they want out of life.

The media has taken a high degree of interest in Julia and as well as appearing regularly on New Zealand TV in series such as Private Investigators shortly to be screened across Australasia on Foxtel & Sky TV's Crime & Investigation channel and as a panelist for two series of TVNZ’s ‘How’s Life’ there have been numerous other Television appearances in both New Zealand & Australia.
Julia is embarking on a new project called ‘Affinities’ an exclusive Introduction Agency. With most of Julia’s clients being business and professional people who due to circumstances find themselves single and looking for likeminded people to enjoy spending time with.
Julia’s straight forward ‘tell it like it is’ approach is seen as a breath of fresh air in today’s politically correct environment.
